Sharing your general location, such as your region, state, or nearest major city may help others connect you with a local group or a pigeon-friendly rescue. Use the full names of locations rather than abbreviated letters, and write the name your country for clarity.

Include a lot of photos with your post in order to will get helpful answers faster.

Remember to turn the flash light off of your camera, because it may scare the pigeon.

Your photos can also be uploaded to an image hosting website like www.imgbb.com if you are having trouble attaching them.

Most of the big pigeon groups post in English. You will get more replies by posting in English. Copy and paste your post into English by using a website like www.translate.google.com and let people know that you used a translator, in case there are errors.

Facebook automatically translates posts, so you can easily talk to people anywhere in the world. You may need to turn translate on in your facebook setting.

Check all of the comments, including replies to other commenters. Some users will write to you in a reply to someone else.

Repost or make update posts if more help is needed. Most members of pigeon groups and animal rescue groups want your rescue pigeon to get help, so do not worry about being annoying.

If you are making an update about your rescue pigeon, it will help others if you include a link to your previous post.

focus on positive comments

Hearing about different opinions or personal experiences is always helpful, but if you recieve comments that are cruel or if someone continues to harrass you, then please ignore or block that person. You may get a few very helpful answers and wish to delete your post or mark it as "solved". If you do this, you may miss even more helpful information from rescuers who are not currently online to see your post.
